Proudeer Robot APP Privacy Policy

We are the operator of the mobile application "ProudeerMow" (the "App"). We are committed to protecting the personal information and privacy of users ("you"). This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains what personal information we collect when you use the App, which is designed to set up, control and manage Proudeer Robotic Lawn Mowers (available on iOS and Android), the purposes of such collection, how we process your personal information, and your rights under this Policy.
By downloading, installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy. This Policy constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding personal information protection in connection with your use of the App, and replaces any prior oral or written agreements, understandings or arrangements relating to the same subject matter.
Preliminary Note on Current and Future Features
This Policy describes the full scope of data collection, usage and service practices that may apply to the App now or in future versions.Please note that:
The current version of the App does not implement or support all features, data collection or services described in this Policy.
Specifically, the App currently does NOT:
(1) Collect device MAC address or user DID as referenced in later sections;
(2) Send marketing messages, promotional push notifications or personalized advertisements;
(3) Share user data with third parties for non‑essential purposes.
Provisions related to unimplemented features are included only to describe potential practices for future updates (such as new functions or service expansions). Such provisions will take effect only when the corresponding features are launched, and we will comply with applicable legal requirements before enabling such features.
For potential future data practices, please refer to "Potential Future Functionality" notes throughout this Policy, which indicate the current App does not implement such functions.
We reserve the right to update this Policy to reflect changes in functions or legal requirements, and will notify you of material changes in accordance with applicable laws. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this note and agree to the terms of this Policy for the current version and future updates.
1 How We Collect Your Personal Information
To provide services to you, we will ask you to provide personal information necessary for such services. If you do not provide relevant information, we may not be able to provide our products or services.
Mobile Device: Any device that runs the App, such as smartphones and tablets (supporting iOS and Android).Device: Any smart device that can connect to the IoT platform through the App, such as a Proudeer Robotic Lawn Mower.
We collect information only for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes, and will not process it further for unrelated purposes. We may collect the following types of information (which may include personal information):
1.1 Mobile Device Information and App Operation InformationOperating system version, language settings, time zone, device manufacturer, model and name.
1.2 Device InformationDevice MAC address and DID (Potential Future Functionality); network information (IP address, signal), firmware version, App version, OS version, and data recorded by visual sensors during mowing operations (such as obstacle avoidance and boundary recognition).
1.3 General Location Information (Only for Specific Services or Functions)Region and country code.
1.4 Network Access InformationWi‑Fi SSID and password. Your password will be stored only locally on your mobile device and will not be uploaded to our servers.
1.5 Account CredentialsUsername, email address and password used for account login and verification.
For any personal information collected by the device based on your instructions or settings in the App, we reasonably assume that you have obtained valid authorization or consent. We will collect, use and transmit such information strictly in accordance with this Policy.
Note: If you choose to share device control with another account, data collected from your device during the sharing period will be recorded under that account (Potential Future Functionality).
2 How We Use Your Personal Information
We collect your personal information to provide products and services and to comply with applicable laws. You agree that we may process and disclose your personal information to our affiliates and third‑party service providers for the purposes stated in this Policy.
We may use your personal information to:
Provide, maintain, improve and develop the products and services we offer.
Communicate with you regarding your device, services and support (such as update notices and upgrade reminders).
Analyze usage data to improve product and service quality.
Store and maintain records related to our business operations and legal obligations.

Create Account: The email collected during registration is used to create your account. Login information ensures basic functions of the App.Location Services: General location information helps identify the data center serving your device.Secure Connection: You may enter Wi‑Fi name and password to connect the device. You may clear such information by resetting the device or uninstalling the App.Device Status: You may remotely view the operating status of your robotic mower.Push Notifications: We may send system and device notifications to your account.Identity Verification: The App uses your password to verify identity and prevent unauthorized login.Persistent Login: You may stay logged in without re‑entering credentials.User Feedback: Your username, feedback, device model and system version may be stored to improve services.Firmware Upgrade: We may remind you of available upgrades based on device firmware version.Product Improvement: We may use device and App usage information to optimize products and services.
3 How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
3.1 Data SecurityWe implement reasonable physical, technical and administrative measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure or misuse. Employees and third‑party service providers who access information to support our services are subject to confidentiality obligations. We maintain appropriate access controls for cloud storage and regularly review security practices.
3.2 Security Incident NoticeIf a personal information security incident occurs, we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws, including details of the incident, potential impacts, measures we have taken or will take, and recommendations to reduce risk. We will notify you via email, push notification or other reasonable means.
3.3 Retention PeriodWe retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. After the retention period expires, we will securely delete or anonymize your personal information. If we discontinue services or cease operations, we will stop collecting personal information and delete or anonymize existing data, and notify you through appropriate channels.
4 Third‑Party SDKs
The App may integrate third‑party SDKs to provide services such as statistics and customer support. Information collected by SDKs will be governed by their respective privacy policies.
5 Your Responsibilities for Information Protection
You should not disclose your account information to unauthorized parties. Proudeer will not be responsible for security issues caused by your failure to properly protect your account information. If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
6 Your Rights Regarding Personal Information
6.1 Delete Information (Potential Future Functionality)You may delete locally cached information through the “Clear Cache” function in the App. To request deletion of personal information stored on our servers, you may contact us at services@proudeerobot.com.
6.2 Withdraw Consent (Potential Future Functionality)You may withdraw your consent to this Policy at any time through Me > About Us > User Policy and Privacy Policy. After withdrawal, we will stop collecting, using and disclosing your personal information. You may no longer be able to use certain products and services.
7 Personalized Optimization & Remote Assistance
During operation, the device may collect lawn management data such as lawn area, operation path and obstacle avoidance images. Such data will be kept confidential and used only to optimize product performance.
To improve user experience, we may provide remote assistance such as device troubleshooting and configuration. With your prior explicit consent, we may also perform remote operations such as map creation.
8 Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may periodically update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will notify you of material changes through App notices, email or other means. Such changes will take effect on the date stated in the notice. Your continued use of the App after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If we need to collect additional personal information or change the purposes of processing, we will obtain your consent again.

10 General Provisions
10.1 SeverabilityIf any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be removed, and the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
10.2 Governing LawThis Policy is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, and also complies with data protection laws of the region where you use the App. If local laws conflict with this Policy, local laws shall prevail.
10.3 LanguageThis Policy is provided in English only.
11 Protection of Minors’ Personal Information
11.1 The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from children under 13. For minors aged 13–18, their use of the App shall be subject to the consent and supervision of their legal guardians.
11.2 Legal guardians may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of the minor’s personal information.
11.3 We will implement additional security measures to protect personal information of minors.
12 Supplementary Data Subject Rights
In addition to rights stated in this Policy, you may exercise rights such as data portability, restriction of processing and objection to processing in accordance with applicable local laws (such as GDPR). To exercise such rights, please submit a written request to services@proudeerobot.com with account and identity information. We will review and respond within the time required by law. We will not charge fees for legitimate requests unless the requests are excessive or repetitive.
13 Cross‑Border Data Transfer
For users outside the People’s Republic of China, your personal information may be transferred to servers in mainland China or other regions where our affiliates or service providers are located. We will ensure cross‑border transfers comply with local laws through appropriate measures such as standard contractual clauses, compliance with relevant frameworks and applicable regulations. Universal security measures including encryption and access control will be applied. You may contact us to request documents related to cross‑border transfer mechanisms.
14 Cookie and Similar Technologies
The App may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience, such as remembering login status and analyzing usage habits. Such technologies will not collect sensitive personal information without your explicit consent. You may adjust cookie settings through your device or App preferences. Essential cookies for core functions may not be disabled. We will disclose detailed information about cookies in the App.
15 Third‑Party Processors
When engaging third‑party service providers to process personal information, we will conduct due diligence, sign data processing agreements and supervise their compliance. If a third party causes data leakage or loss, we will fulfill corresponding responsibilities to you and reserve the right to claim against the third party. Upon termination of cooperation, we will require the third party to delete or return all personal information.

For material updates to this Policy, we will notify you through email and in‑App notices. For non‑material updates, we will publish the revised Policy in the App with the updated date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you may withdraw consent and stop using the App.

We may collect sensitive personal information in specific scenarios to optimize functions. We will obtain your explicit separate consent before collection. Sensitive information will be protected with enhanced security measures. You may withdraw consent through the App settings at any time.

For data not related to specific individuals, we will conduct anonymization or de-identification in accordance with applicable standards. Such data will no longer be regarded as personal information and may be used for product development, analysis and other legitimate purposes without additional consent.

We have established an emergency response mechanism for data breaches. If a breach occurs, we will activate the response plan promptly, conduct an investigation and notify you and competent authorities in accordance with applicable laws. The notification will include key information such as the nature of the breach, potential impacts, measures taken and preventive suggestions. If individual notice is not feasible, we will issue a public notice.
20 Marketing Communications (Potential Future Functionality)
20.1 ConsentWe will send marketing information only with your explicit consent, obtained through a clear voluntary action.
20.2 Regional RequirementsFor users in different regions, we will comply with local requirements regarding marketing communications.
20.3 UnsubscribeYou may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time through unsubscribe links in messages, App settings or by contacting services@proudeerobot.com. After withdrawal, we will stop sending relevant marketing messages.
21 Additional Regional Rights
Users in Brazil, Canada, Australia and other regions may exercise additional rights in accordance with local data protection laws. To exercise such rights, please contact services@proudeerobot.com with relevant information. We will respond in accordance with local legal requirements.
22 Records of Data Processing
We will maintain records of data processing activities in accordance with applicable laws. You may request access to records related to your personal information. We will provide records in a readable format after verifying your identity. Records will be retained for the period required by law and then securely deleted or anonymized.
23 Compliance Confirmation
This Policy constitutes the complete agreement between you and us regarding personal information processing. It complies with mainstream data protection laws and regulations globally. We will review this Policy at least once a year and update it when necessary. All updates will follow the notice mechanism set forth in this Policy. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, and the remaining provisions shall remain valid. This Policy replaces all prior agreements on the same subject.
By downloading, installing or continuing to use the App, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the full content of this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please stop using the App and contact us to delete your account and related data.
